 This three-day trek is essentially a microcosm of what a longer Nepalese mountain trek is like.

It passes through quaint villages, up many, many stairs, between jungles and over rivers, and before ultimately ending up at altitude (3,200m), with your head amongst the tallest mountains in the world. 

It really is the perfect way to ease yourself into trekking in Nepal.

Everest Base Camp 3 Namche Bazaar

Everest Base Camp ... is also one of the most popular treks in Nepal and can get a little crowded during the peak months from March - May, and September to December. 

But that also is the beauty of this trek - with so many hikers, the facilities up to Namche Bazaar are wonderful; and from Namche to Gorak Shep, more than adequate, so you’ll not be without some level of comfort during your hike.
